Content From Other Authors

This blog may see an increase in content soon, so I'm here to explain why.,

First and foremost, this is my blog. It has my namesake all over it, and I want it to be very clear that I endorse the content that is here. However, to allow for more content, and to give some friends a platform, I'm going to be allowing other people to create posts here. Please continue reading:

Not Knowing What To Call Something

Hey man, you know when you have to like... do that thing? "What do you mean?" I dont know, like, that thing we do. "Do you speak English?",

This is more of a silly post compared to last time, but at the same time it's a serious post. Are humans just stupid? Or do our languages just lack the words to describe something sometimes.

Teachers Get No Respect

*Insert Rodney Dangerfield reference* - but seriously, the way some teachers get treated is absolutely despicable.,

As I ease into College life, and think back to the last 12 years of schooling, I notice something that I had already realized, but never really thought about. I've had many great teachers, I've had some bad ones sure, but 9 times out of 10, the teachers I had were at least good teachers and nice people. But apparently some people don't agree with that sentiment.

Blu-Ray - The Future?

A supposed legendary technological evolution of the DVD, the future of optical entertainment. So where are they?,

CDs were a breakthrough, at least in terms of storage. When CDs came out they held more data than hard disk drives of the time, but things evolve. CDs evolved into DVDs, which held nearly 5 GB vs the ~700 MB of CDs. CDs and DVDs are manufactured in slightly different ways, and are read with slightly different tech, but Blu-Rays are rather interesting.

Work That No One Will Ever See

Old Code pt.2 A ton of hardwork, yet the result remains the same, at least to an outsider looking in.,

I'm not sure if this will resonate with as many people as the previous post since, depending on what kind of things you program, this may not apply to you. But I still believe this is worth talking about, for the sake of the people doing the work.
